Ich hatte mir zunächst vorgenommen, der Redaktion einen Covid-19 NEG Artikel zuzustellen. Geprägt vom aktuellen Alltag sah ich mich dennoch veranlasst, mal nachzusehen, wieviel und was für Literatur zum Thema «Covid-19 und Onkologie» denn bislang erschienen ist. PubMed mit den search commands «covid-19 AND cancer» ergab Ende März 2020 83 Publikationen, mit «covid-19 AND oncology» nur 47. Die entsprechenden Zahlen Ende April 2020, d.h. zum Zeitpunkt der Niederschrift dieser Übersicht, sind 350, bzw. 235. Die Fokussierung der Suche auf «clinical trials» erzielte mit beiden Suchstrategien im März 2020 0 Treffer, Ende April 2020 je 2 gleiche Studien, die mit Covid-19 allerdings rein gar nichts zu tun haben. Ein gutes Beispiel, dass die Suche nach Literatur via PubMed sehr davon abhängt, wie man technisch sucht. Ich lege eine Auswahl vor.
